If you're interested in learning what types of fishing we do, then you're in luck. We do all kinds of bottom fishing, live lining, chumming, and trolling! During the months of April and May, we go bottom fishing for bluefish, trophy rock, and white perch. Our primary fish, the ever popular Chesapeake Bay rockfish, also known as striper, can be caught anytime throughout the months of June to November. Rockfishing AKA Chesapeake bay striper fishing is perhaps one of the most popular types of fishing that we do here at Sellfish Charters!

Of course, there are other types of fish to be had when fishing with us. We try our best to locate the fish, and since we know this area fairly well, we are quite good at it! From white perch to bluefish, spanish mackerel to spot, flounder to croaker, catfish to sea trout, the areas we fish are perhaps some of the most diverse areas that you are going to find! It's amazing how many different species of fish can coexist in the same stretches of water. This will work to your advantage, as it offers a wide range of different types of fishing, as well as a diverse catch!

While we are located in at Chesapeake Beach during the striper fishing season months of April and May, from Mid-May throughout Summer and Fall, we are located on the Magothy River, only 20 minutes from Annapolis!

Luckily, by being so close to Annapolis, there are many different activities that you and your family can enjoy when you are feeling the call to stay on dry land!
